A report detailing the ways that housing associations in Tayside, Grampian and Fife can support tenants with financial advice was published last week by regeneration agency Communities Scotland. It follows a study of 900 households, which looked at the problems encountered by tenants, such as accessing bank accounts, loans and overdrafts. A Feasibility Study into the Application of a Community Banking Initiative is available from www.communitiesscotland.gov.uk.
