CABE responds to criticisms

The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment has responded to criticisms of its design review process - which judges the quality of key developments - by saying it will publish the names of Cabe commissioners that carry out individual reviews. Giving evidence to an ODPM select committee investigation into Cabe this week, new chief executive Richard Simmons said he accepted criticisms over accountability of the existing system.
