Unemployment levels falling faster

Unemployment levels are falling faster in the Highlands and Islands than in other parts of Scotland, a business network in the region has claimed. Publishing its 2004/05 results, Highlands and Islands Enterprise reveals that unemployment has fallen from 2.8 per cent to 2.4 per cent. The Scottish average is 2.9 per cent, it says.
