Businesses in Rugby vote on establishing improvement district

Businesses in Rugby have voted to establish a business improvement district to try to raise funds to deliver a series of improvements to the city centre. Of the votes cast, 65.6 per cent of the businesses by number and 58.1 per cent of firms by rateable value agreed to the proposal. The team behind the BID said it will raise approximately £3 million over the next five years.
