Wigan complex given go-ahead

A Wigan office complex has been given the go-ahead by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minster. The ODPM called in the scheme due to concerns over public transport links, among other things. Plans for the Foundation Economic Development Zone, which forms part of the town's regeneration initiative, comprise eight buildings totalling 9,371sq metres.
