Jobseeker's Allowance benefit rises

The number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance benefit has risen for the eighth month in succession, the Office of National Statistics reported this week. The latest Labour Market survey also shows that job vacancies have fallen, unemployment remains flat and the growth in earnings is unchanged. The statistics are available at www.statistics.gov.uk.
