Appointment at Jobcentre Plus

Work and pensions secretary David Blunkett last week announced the appointment of Lesley Strathie as chief executive of Jobcentre Plus. Strathie, formerly chief operating officer of Jobcentre Plus, had been acting chief executive since David Anderson's departure in May.
