A 32-storey residential tower in Sheffield gets the go-ahead

A 32-storey residential tower in the heart of Sheffield finally got the go-ahead this week. The £60 million scheme was rejected in July after Liberal Democrat councillors criticised its design. But in a vote of five to four last week, the city council's planning committee approved the Conran & Partners-designed tower.
