London would benefit from convention centre says commission

London would benefit from having an international convention centre to make the most of the 2012 Olympic Games, according to an independent commission set up to look at the evidence for building a new centre. The Mayoral Commission said the centre would cost £250-300 million to build, but could boost the UK economy by £400 million a year.
