Project to be evaluated by ERS

A project aimed at embedding environmental principles into area-based regeneration schemes such as the New Deal for Communities is to be evaluated by consultancy ERS. Rural watchdog the Countryside Agency appointed the firm to examine its Regeneration through Environmental Action (React) programme, which is taking place in seven areas including Middlesbrough and Stoke-on-Trent.
