Heritage Lottery Fund awards £15.5 million

Hull, Leith, Dartford, Holyhead and Rotherham were among 12 UK towns to be awarded a total of £15.5 million from good causes distributor the Heritage Lottery Fund last week to help local communities regenerate historic areas. The grants are intended to address problems in areas of specific social or economic need.
