Developer Amec appointed as preferred developer

Developer Amec has been appointed as the preferred developer to transform the 21ha Northshore waterfront site in Stockton. As part of the agreement Amec has announced that it will work on the project in partnership with developer Urban Splash. URC Tees Valley Regeneration, which made the appointment, predicts that the 480-home scheme will bring 2,500 jobs to the area. The site has already had £18 million of public investment which has been used for reclamation and infrastructure.
