Innovations - Refugees volunteer to boost their skills

The Regional Integration Initiative aims to encourage refugees and asylum-seekers to become involved in training and volunteering, helping them to integrate and contribute to the community, as well as trying to tackle prejudices. It is organised by the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Consortium for Asylum-Seekers and Refugees, a Home Office-funded partnership. Ivelina Metchkarova-Taylor, a development worker at the consortium, answers our panel's questions.
