Central Swansea to get funding for public area improvements

Central Swansea is to get funding to pay for public area improvements, the Welsh Assembly Government said last week. The city centre is to benefit from £1.4 million of European Union Objective 1 funding to go with £2 million from the Local Regeneration Fund. The money will pay for enhancements to Swansea's streetscape and other public elements, the WAG said.
