Funding package announced in Northern Ireland to encourage volunteering

Northern Ireland's Department for Social Development this week announced a £3 million funding package to encourage more people in the province to get involved in volunteering. The Community Volunteering Scheme will target those not in paid work, ethnic minority groups, under-25s, over-50s and the disabled.
