The parliamentary select committee that scrutinises the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister policies is to conduct an inquiry into the regeneration of coastal towns. It will look at the work the ODPM is doing to address coastal towns' housing, environmental and social problems and examine their need for special regeneration initiatives.
