Sunderland's New Deal for Communities partnership

Sunderland's New Deal for Communities partnership has announced a £1.7 million package of improvements for the city's East End and Hendon areas. The cash is intended to fund a clean-up of the NDC area, provide support for the long-term unemployed and provide the area with a debt and benefits adviser.
