Funding secured for UK's first National Centre for Carnival Arts

Funding has been secured for the UK's first National Centre for Carnival Arts in Luton. The centre, due to open in 2007, has received £6.2 million from Arts Council England East, the East of England Development Agency, European funds, and Luton Borough Council to provide training, workshops, seminars and showcase performances.
