Correction

Correction: in our last issue we said that a judge had ruled that English Partnerships was acting outside its powers in seeking to compulsorily buy homes in Liverpool's Edge Lane West area (R&R, 29 September, p1). In fact, the judge said the agency's approach was sound. The challenge was upheld because of incorrect wording used in the Government's letter confirming the compulsory purchase order.
