Energy requirements for London developments

London developments would have to provide 20 per cent of their energy requirements from on-site renewable sources under plans published last week for consultation by mayor Ken Livingstone. The idea of raising the requirement from ten per cent was revealed in June (R&R, 2 June, p3). Draft Further Alterations to the London Plan is available via www.regen.net/doc.
