Grant awarded for Liverpool khistoric building

A historic building in the south end of Liverpool has been awarded a £3.9million grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund to bring it back to life as a community club. Local residents have fought campaigns for eight years to save the Florence Institute and are now confident it will be saved by 2008, in time for Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture.
