Transport problems

Research into solving transport problems is to be supported by a new £12 million fund. The Future Intelligent Transport Systems initiative will be financed with £9 million from the Department for Transport, Department of Trade and Industry and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and £3 million from the transport industry.
