Isle of Gigha's population risen

The Isle of Gigha's population has risen by more than 50 per cent since the 2002 community take-over, islanders announced last week. At the time of the £4 million community buy-out from a private landlord just 98 people lived on the Hebridean island, but the population now stands at 151.
