Omega business park

Long-disputed plans for the proposed 233ha Omega business park at junction 8 of the M62 motorway have been endorsed by Warrington Council. The council resolved to approve the first two phases of the scheme - backed by Miller Developments, the Royal Bank of Scotland and national regeneration agency English Partnerships - which will now be referred to local government secretary Ruth Kelly for a final decision.
