Economic Initiative

An initiative that is designed to boost economic development in rural areas in the Midlands has contributed £555,000 towards a £1.84 million scheme to cut carbon emissions in Shropshire. The money has come from regional development agency Advantage West Midlands' Rural Regeneration Zone. The Low Carbon Communities for Business project will provide firms with grants and support to help them cut carbon emissions.
