London's borough leaders agree not to cut funding programme

London's borough leaders have agreed not to cut a £28 million funding programme for voluntary sector organisations that work across local authority boundaries in the capital, despite earlier claims that they would (R&R, 20 October, p5). The leaders committee of London Councils last week decided not to cut or reallocate the funding.
