Contract to build a mixed-use scheme

A £47 million contract to build a mixed-use scheme on the site of the former Cattle Market in Bury St Edmunds has been awarded to Taylor Woodrow Construction. The scheme is being developed by developer Centros Miller in partnership with St Edmundsbury Borough Council. The 5ha development will include two new shopping streets, a public square, 62 flats and a public venue.
