Thames Gateway Plan a damp squib

Regeneration professionals converged last Wednesday on the Excel Centre in London's Docklands for the Thames Gateway Forum, to hear Ruth Kelly launch the long-awaited new Gateway Plan. Fifteen years after the scheme's launch and 11 since publication of the original plan, this was to be a red letter day for Europe's biggest regeneration project.
