Lottery votes

Nearly 350,000 votes were cast during a television series giving viewers the chance to decide which projects should receive Lottery funding, it was announced last week. The Big Lottery Fund's People's Millions - screened last month on ITV - allowed the public to vote on how £4.2 million was spent.
