Government announces provisional payments

The Government has announced provisional payments of £28.8 million to enable regional planning bodies and local planning authorities in England to improve their planning services. The 2007-08 Planning Delivery Grant cash also includes funding of £100,000 for each of nine local authorities participating in housing market renewal projects.
