Aedas wins design competition

Architectural consultancy Aedas has won a design competition for a new £2.5 million railway station in Rotherham. The project - which will be funded by South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and regional development agency Yorkshire Forward - will include the construction of a new passenger lounge and retail space.
