Government funding for South-East affordable homes in shortfall

Government funding for South-East affordable homes is £50 million short of what is needed to deliver official targets, claims the South East of England Regional Housing Board quango. It says at least £56 million more is needed between 2008-11 to deliver the region's affordable homes targets.
