Decision to grant planning permission for tower on London South Bank faces legal challenge

The communities secretary's decision to grant planning permission to a tower on London's South Bank is facing a legal challenge from the Government's heritage adviser and Westminster City Council. English Heritage and Westminster council believe the 43-storey Doon Street tower would cause "serious harm" to London's historic environment.
