Chief executive of Co-operatives UK to retire

Dame Pauline Green, chief executive of umbrella body Co-operatives UK, is to retire from her post next June. She became chief executive of the Co-operative Union in 2000 and led the organisation through a merger with the Industrial Common Ownership Movement and its emergence as Co-operatives UK.
