Innovations: Research on cutting crime using design

A partnership between Salford academics and the Greater Manchester Police's Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) is attempting to find urban design solutions that will cut crime without resorting to traditional deterrents, such as CCTV, that often increase the fear of crime.
