Post-2012 stadium could seat 40,000

A review of the legacy use of the Olympic stadium in east London could see the stadium retained as an athletics venue, but with up to 15,000 more seats than was proposed in the document put forward when the capital was bidding to host the Games, the Olympics minister said last week.
