- The Welsh Assembly Government (Wag) has approved more than £12 million of funding for regeneration projects. Among the beneficiaries are a project to regenerate Blaenau Ffestiniog town centre, which will receive £3.1 million of European Convergence funding and £1.1 from the Wag, and the Severn Valley regeneration project, which will receive £3.3 million of European Convergence funding and £1.9 million from the Wag.
