The Department for Transport and the South-East England Development Agency have awarded £15.1 million in regional infrastructure funding to two projects in Ashford, Kent. The cash will pay for upgrades to a roundabout and junction 9 of the M20 motorway, including new traffic signals, a pedestrian footbridge and widening of approach roads.
