13ha Greengate area regeneration approved

Plans to regenerate the 13ha Greengate area linking Manchester and Salford were approved by Manchester City Council last week. Funded primarily by regeneration quango the Homes & Communities Agency, the £10.4 million public realm scheme includes plans for a new pedestrian bridge over the river Irwell.
