Appointment at The Land Restoration Trust

The Land Restoration Trust, a partnership working to bring derelict land in England back into use, has named Peter Smith as its new chairman. Smith will head a new board of trustees established following the trust's conversion from a subsidiary of the Homes & Communities Agency to a private charity.
