Joseph Rowntree Foundation report available online
Poverty and housing repossessions were on the rise before the recession, according to a report by social policy research charity the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. The report says that efforts to tackle poverty in the UK need to address deep-seated problems prevalent before the downturn as well as those exacerbated by the recession.
