Sherwood Energy Village, Nottinghamshire

Sherwood Energy Village is a business park and urban extension in a former coalfield community in Nottinghamshire. It is owned by not-for-profit organisation Sherwood Energy Village, which was set up in response to the closure of Ollerton colliery in the mid 1990s. Six hundred miners lost their jobs when the pit closed.
