Budget 2010: Confusion over DCLG spending cut contribution

The Department for Communities and Local Government has failed to provide details setting out how it will secure around £500 million in savings promised in last year's Pre-Budget Report that Treasury officials say will constitute the department's contribution to a total of £11 billion in 'efficiency savings' across Whitehall.
